Los Angeles, Feb. 26 -- Vinoteque on Melrose has quickly become known for its unique wine tasting concept, exceptional cellar selection and fabulous rustic fare.   The passionate team behind Vinoteque will raise the wine tasting bar next Friday, March 5, with an exclusive wine event featuring 12 winemakers from the Provence Region of France.   This exceptional wine event, held in conjunction with the Provence Wine Council, will feature the largest selection of winemakers from Provence ever assembled on the west coast.  Expect 35 different labels not yet available on the west coast, winemaker discussions, wines available for purchase, and Provincial French fare prepared by Vinoteque Chef, KC Ma.

About Vins de Provence
The Conseil Interprofessionnel des Vins de Provence (CIVP), known in the United States as the Provence Wine Council, is a private organization of wine producers and trading companies working together to promote and advance the wines of the Provence region of France.

Founded in 2004, the organization represents more than 700 producers that together produce 95 percent of Provence’s Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée (AOC) wines. The CIVP/Provence Wine Council also represents 55 wine dealers and distributors. Its governing assembly is composed of seven wine producers and seven trade delegates. By bringing together wine producers and distributors, the organization is raising the profile of the region’s wines around the world. About Vinoteque on Melrose:
Vinoteque on Melrose has created a new approach to a traditional wine program featuring an impressive cellar of over 350 wines that can be opened and poured by the glass or purchased by the bottle. Set in a rustic, friendly atmosphere, Vinoteque was creatively designed utilizing sustainable materials. The restaurant also features a communal wine table and an intimate outdoor patio complete with its own organic vegetable and herb garden.   Great food, a unique wine program and an unbeatable setting makes for a distinctive, yet casual dining experience.
